amidst an inquisition

Who, save the albatross, can notice this subtle changing of the guard?
For when does the laughing child get to take his turn?

Fortunate are we that this extant family is fully au courant and not adrift on the matter.
Those who wait must again find their home

If genuinity is lacking, lengthening their reach will only allow more drifters
to slip into the infinite abyss...

For who will scale the ever changing obstacle of the incumbent one?
I say those that desire to tread, will so tread
- Maven


The fire within scales the wall. Those who capture it can only find solace
in knowing that a setup is afoot in the Circle less traveled

Travel as you may, the threat of those who reach aimlessly through
the gaping holes of freedom may find flight
- Maven


But turtles can only be pulled if they wish, and only by a giant
sporting an invisible shield
- Rilian


I must ask, what giant is inclined to labor carelessly?
Those testudines who seek the face of their minions
may not always conquer
- Maven


Simple minds can only conquer when teamed with children
riding on the backs of eagles.

at the true revelation of who actually holds the simple minds

passion thwarted by a score of burrows
hitched to buggies.

As Chance grants new life to old blood, a friendly hunting party
will chase swallows only to find that dinosaurs aren't extinct, after all.

While finding the decaying fossils of old may seem ultimate in itself, one can hope only to achieve the revelation that this futile act is merely the turning of a distant handle.

And so the march begins, if only to outrun the end. For the workers are doomed, and the diggers and generals but hope they can outrun the sound of the fat lady's winsome song.
